To Mothers, Both Present and Beyond

They are the rock and foundation that hold not only families together, but also society as a whole. Without their seamless stream of support and love, our world would be a much different place. They are, of course, mothers. Our formative years are spent being nurtured and raised by them, and each year we have the opportunity to reciprocate that same love.

All of that and more are why Mother’s Day is so important, and our office is eagerly awaiting to share that support with their own mother or by honoring their memory. For Dr. Coats, a favorite memory of his would be the adventure to California.

While graduating from dental school, Dr. Coats began the journey of moving his mother to California. During that week-long period, they passed by New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. And, naturally, no journey would be complete unless a few pit stops were taken along the way. They stopped for a day to visit the Grand Canyon and also to enjoy Las Vegas. It was a week he’ll never forget, and one that is cherished fondly.

But more than just adventures on the road, some of the best moments shared with our moms lie in the kitchen. When it comes to cooking, mom does it best. Our team has their own favorite dish from their mothers, and for Dr. Coats it would have to be the signature fried chicken pieces. There is just something about a good chicken dish that brings a smile out, isn’t there?

However you plan to celebrate Mother’s Day, be sure to do just that; celebrate. The moms of the world deserve this day to feel loved. So to the moms here with us and those who are now beyond, we hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day.
